Release: Burkett Expands Delivery Fleet

PERRYSBURG, Ohio, January 6, 2023 – In addition to its nation-wide shipping capabilities, Burkett Restaurant Equipment and Supplies continues to adapt to the changing needs of its clients by investing in ways to provide faster local delivery from its Toledo-branch, servicing Ohio, Michigan, and parts of Indiana. The company has added three (3) 26’ Mack delivery trucks and two pick-up trucks to its delivery fleet to meet evolving needs and the demand of a growing client base.

Many of the company’s clients rely on having the equipment and smallwares they need delivered directly to their doorstep or set in place by Burkett’s installation specialists. Vice President of Operations Mike Duhamel feels the convenience of a larger fleet will be a benefit to many of those customers. “Local businesses have the advantage of coming into our showroom and walking out with an item in their own vehicle, but that’s generally not possible with larger equipment or multi-unit purchases. Increasing our cargo capacity and the number of trucks will allow for faster delivery on a busy delivery manifest,” said Duhamel.
