Margarita Recipes for Fun Summer Dining

If your customers are anything like me, they crave a nice cold margarita when it gets this hot. Frozen or on the rocks – it doesn’t matter as long as it’s refreshing! Satisfy customer cravings and try fun margarita recipes to add to your menu.

Classic Margarita Recipe

Recipe from Waring
Makes 5 Margaritas

Supplies

Commercial bar blender (we recommend the Raptor 48 oz.)
Margarita rimmer (find it here)
Margarita glasses (shop our full selection)

Ingredients

4 ounces (½ cup) tequila
4 ounces (½ cup) triple sec
8 ounces (1 cup) margarita mix
3 cups ice cubes

Directions:

1. Put all ingredients in blender jar and secure lid.
2. Blend on high speed until smooth (about 10 seconds).
3. Finally, garnish the rim of your margarita glasses with salt and serve!

Margarita Freeze Recipe

Makes 5 Freezes

Supplies

Commercial bar blender
Margarita rimmer
Margarita glasses

Ingredients

8 ounces (1 cup) Gold Tequila
8 ounces (1 cup) Defrosted Lime Concentrate
8 ounces (1 cup) Lemon Sherbet
2 cups Ice Cubes

Directions:

1. First, put all liquid ingredients in blender jar, then add the remaining ingredients and secure lid.
2. Blend on high speed until smooth (about 10 seconds).
3. Finally, garnish the rim of your margarita glasses with salt and serve!

Mixed Berry Margarita Recipe

Recipe from The Burkett Blog
Makes (1) 16 oz. margarita

Supplies

Immersion blender (we recomment the Waring Quik Stik)
Margarita rimmer
Margarita glasses

Ingredients

1 cup Frozen Mixed Berries
1 cup Orange, Lime, or Lemon Juice
1/3 cup Tequila
1/2 tbsp Triple Sec or Grand Marnier
1-2 tsp Sugar

Directions:

  1. Place all ingredients in a mixing beaker
  2. Next, insert your immersion blender until submerged. Blend in an up-and-down motion until ingredients are combined (30 seconds)
  3. Garnish the rim with sugar
  4. Lastly, pour into glass and add fresh berries for an extra pop!

Bloody Mary Recipe for Day After National Vodka Day

Most national food holidays require quite a bit of explanation to get you guys riled up, but I have a feeling that today’s holiday isn’t going to require much of a background story. Today is National Vodka Day! In case you need a reason to celebrate this amazing holiday, let me give you just a little bit of information about Vodka. With an alcohol content of more than 38%, vodka is the drink of choice in Eastern Europe, Russia and even the United States. Think about how many cocktails use vodka: Martinis, Bloody Marys, Cosmopolitans, Hairy Navels, Long Island Iced Teas, Sex on the Beaches, Bull Shots, Jell-O Shots, Kamikazes, Lemon Drops, Screwdrivers…..

That list could probably go on for a while so let’s just cut to the chase and give you the best Vodka recipe that we’ve ever come across from one of our favorite commercial blender companies!

Frozen Bloody Maryfrozen bloody mary on plate with side dish

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. tomato juice
  • 4 oz. Vodka
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. horseradish
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2-3 drops of Tabasco sauce
  • 10 tomato juice cubes
  • celery salt for glass rim

Directions

  1. Freeze tomato juice in ice-cube trays.
  2. Place all ingredients in Waring 32 oz Blender except celery salt. Blend for 1-2 mins.
  3. Wet rim of glass and dip in celery salt.
  4. Pour Bloody Mary into 8 oz Chilled Glass, and enjoy!
