The city is also home to several restaurants that source ingredients locally, providing fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced dishes. Whether you’re in the mood for a quick bite, or a sit-down meal, Toledo has something for everyone.
That’s why we’re thrilled to announce our sponsorship of Restaurant Week Toledo 2023! This community event celebrates the best of Toledo’s food scene and raises funds to support Leadership Toledo’s youth programs.
What is Leadership Toledo?
Fostering our next generation of leaders is vital to the success of our community. Leadership Toledo is a local non-profit organization that recognizes this need and has developed its programs to meet it.
Leadership Toledo sets four goals for their youth programs:
- Lead: to become a more confident leader
- Connect: to become more conntected to the community
- Grow: to grow stronger in self awareness
- Serve: to find meaningful service through group projects
Each session focuses on a different topic that helps participants reach these goals.
Through a combination of mentorship, hands-on learning experiences, and community service projects, students in Toledo are exposed to new ideas and challenges. These programs give young people the opportunity to explore their passions and interests. The result is a generation of confident, community focused leaders who are ready to make a positive difference. By supporting Leadership Toledo’s youth programs, we’re investing in the future of our city.
All programs and educational opportunities for youth are free to students and their families.
What is Restaurant Week Toledo?
For the past 12 years, local restaurants have prepared special menus to feature during Restaurant Week Toledo, which takes place this year from February 27th – March 5th. A portion of proceeds from Restaurant Week Toledo are donated to Leadership Toledo’s high-impact youth programs.
This gives you the opportunity to sample a wide range of food options, while supporting a great local cause. Check out the list of participating restaurants, and all their menus ahead of time at restaurantweektoledo.com.

This year, Leadership Toledo has partnered with Keep Toledo/Lucas County Beautiful to roll out a new green initiative during Restaurant Week called the Sustainable Restaurant Program. This program is designed to help maintain our communal spaces and resources as the community grows.
